Spider-Woman [Mar. 10th, 2009|12:38 am]
Jesse Hamm
Some warm-ups for a story that I'm writing and drawing for kicks.

Jessica Drew is so much cooler than Peter Parker.

These are so cool! I don't know that I've ever seen her look so spider-y.

Cool, indeed! I'd be induced to pick up
a Spider-Woman book if she looked like this.

I shudder to think what some colorists
might do to these drawings, though. :(

As for comparative coolness, it's lucky for Peter
that he's loved for his dweebishness.

Thanks Jon!

Luckily, I'll be coloring this story myself (though I guess it remains to be seen whether that's a good thing).

"Spider-y" indeed!

.

I like the anorexic ribs in the top image, very creepy; and the rat's nest hair (shades of Medusa) also adds to the creep factor.

Arachnophobic!

Re: "Spider-y" indeed!

Thanks Dave (and Andrew whereever you are!). I'm glad her spidery look is going over well.
